2015 Season Results

City Meet
Congratulations to the Sion Track & Field Team for their 2nd Place finish at the City Meet. The 7 & 8th Grade girls finished first in the division, the
4-6th grade girls finished 2nd and the 4-6th grade boys finished 4th. Our
7 & 8th grade girls set a Parochial League record in the Distance Medley. Fantastic effort by the entire team.

May 2

Team Results:
2nd place-Girls, 12th place-Boys, 4th place-Total Team
Lorelei Matthews’s (4-6th) first place, proving good things come in small packages and Kamryn Rogers (7/8th) who threw 29’ 1” (It’s good to be queen)
200: Hana Awad (7th/8th) took 1st place after a week off in DC
track relay800: Dianna Lawhead , our 4th grader placed 7th in her first attempt with a time of 3:14. Just an outstanding “Believe and You Can Achieve” effort!

April 11
Track and Field Fans the results are in (streamlined)! Overall, Sion placed 4 out of 13 schools. Girls placed 2nd and Boys placed 9th. These are great results for a small, but mighty team going up against larger schools. Congrats!
Let's give a round of applause to our new 4th graders, who displayed incredible confidence and performance in their first meet.
Lastly, 14/16 handoffs in the morning were fabulous (yes, we are actually doing stuff in the oval)!
